The Golden City Council encourages citizen participation in municipal government and welcomes your interest in serving on a city board, commission, or committee.

Appointments to city boards and commissions are made either by the Mayor or the City Council, or both. Terms on the boards and commissions expire at various times each year, and in November the City starts recruiting applicants for upcoming vacancies. Applications are available via the links below and at the City Clerks office.

Residency within the city of Golden is a requirement for membership on most boards.
