The City of Golden offers adult softball leagues for Men, Women, and Coed teams from Recreational to Competitive. We will begin accepting registrations for our Summer season on February 15, 2010.
The Summer Season will run from May to August. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs in each division. Registration Deadline for all summer softball leagues is April 21, 2010. All leagues are first come, first served; sign up today! A mandatory coach's meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 6:30pm at the Golden Community Center. Don’t have a team? No games will be played May 28-31 for the Memorial Day holiday or July 2-5 for the Independence Day holiday. *Additionally, the Coed D DH league will not play 6/4/10, 7/16/10 or 7/30/10 to avoid conflicts with the USSSA Mixed Tournament schedule.
Game Times for all weeknight leagues will be 6:15, 7:10, 8:05, and 9:00 PM. Game times for the Sunday league will be 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 PM. There is a 55 minute time limit for all games.
All leagues must have a minimum of four teams to run. Double header leagues must have a minimum of 6 teams to run. The maximum for each league depends upon field availability. League minimums may be changed under the discretion of league management. Leagues may be combined and/or locations changed under the discretion of league management.

If your team has highly skilled and competitive players, play at this level and get the competition that you need. |
| D Rec |
If some of the players on your team can hit and field consistently but are playing for recreation and as a social event, this is the right league for you. |
| Coed D |
Your team can hit consistently throughout all spots in the lineup and can make good defensive plays. Play here, have fun and still have some competition. |
| E Divisions |
Your team has very little experience playing softball and is just out there to have a good time. |
| Competitive Parity |
The City of Golden has the right to place teams into leagues or divisions so competitive parity can be reached. |

There will be a mandatory coaches meeting on Wednesday, April 28 at 6:30pm at the Golden Community Center. Schedules will be distributed at this meeting. This will be every team’s first opportunity to view the schedules for the season. Team packets will not be available for pickup at the front desk until noon on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Teams who do not attend the meeting will still be held responsible for any policies and rules clarifications that are discussed at the meeting.

Any player hitting a home run over the fence after the team has exceeded the designated home run limit results in an OUT. The ball is dead and no runners can advance.
Playoffs
The top four teams in each division will advance to the playoffs. Overall league champion will be determined by the outcome of the four team playoff.

League payment must be paid in full. Teams are not entered in any league unless full payment is made. For information regarding payment plans, contact Becky at 303-384-8194. All registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. If a team withdraws prior to the April 21st Registration Deadline, a $50 processing fee will be assessed. After the deadline, no refunds will be given.
